This is a year-round and full-time hospitality role, with an opportunity to have a meaningful impact within a new business, supporting the overall ambitions of St Ives WS CIC and sustainable economic development within St Ives.
Key responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and monitor content across Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Use Meta Business Suite and other tools to manage social media platforms.
- Monitor platform activity and respond to any comments and enquiries
Content Creation
- Develop engaging content with graphics, photos, and videos using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Write copy for social media posts, website blogs, email campaigns, and press releases.
- Upload content to website using WordPress.
Event Marketing and Logistics
- Promoting and running events.
- Create marketing materials for events.
- Capture event content through video and photography.
- Send out registration and feedback forms.
- Create Eventbrite pages for events.
Analytics and Reporting
Provide reports on social media campaign performance and provide any recommendations.
General Support
Support the wider team with any other marketing, events or operational tasks.
Personal Profile and Desired Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, WordPress, Mailchimp, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, LinkTree, and Adobe Suites.
- Good grammar, spelling, copywriting and content creation skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Previous experience in a marketing or events role.
- A proactive and collaborative team player.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
Salary: £22,500-£25,000 per annum (pro rata, if part-time)
Generous holiday: 30 days, plus 8 bank holidays per year (pro rata, if part-time).
Working Hours: up to 37.5 hours per week (usually Monday to Friday), including evenings and occasional weekends. We are open to this role being part-time or a job share. Please let us know if this would be preferable in your Cover Letter to us.
